NDA and Navel Academy Examination 2012

UPSC is going to held the NDA-II and Naval Academy Examination- I, 2012. These recruitment and examinations are for both men and women. It will be held on 15th April 2012 for the admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force Wings of the NDA for the 129th Course and for the 91st Indian Naval Academy Course commencing from December 2012. Candidates who are citizen of India and posses the required qualification can apply online before 30th January 2012.

Total 335 posts are available. Out of this, 195 posts are for Army, 39 are for Navy, 66 are for Air Force and rest 35 are for Navy Academy.
 
Eligibility: Candidates should have passed 12th class examination conducted by a state Education Board or University. But for the positions in Air Force, Navy and Naval Academy, candidates must have passed 12th class with Physics and Mathematics as a subject.

Qualifing marks system for IIT JEE

Joint Admission Board has introduced a new qualifing marks system for IIT JEE this year.

Candidates aspiring to crack JEE 2012 will have to score at least 10% marks in each of the three subjects and a minimum aggregate of 35% to figure on the common rank list for admission to IITs. 

Till last time, the minimum qualifying marks in JEE were worked out after calculating the average of marks scored by all the candidates who wrote the exam. 

According to the Joint Admission Board, fixing the minimum marks required will make the system more transparent, while making it easier for students to set their goals in the exam.

Time has once again arrived for the thousands of IIT aspirants who want to fulfill their dream of studying in any part of the top engineering institution in the country when the online registration for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2012 began on Monday.

Examination Schedule:

Paper 1: 09.00 to 12.00 hrs (IST)
Paper 2: 14.00 to 17.00 hrs (IST)

Note: The schedule will remain unaltered even if the above date is declared a public holiday.

The online registration for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2012 is starting on Monday. IIT exam will be held on April 8 next year (Sunday).

The forms will be available over the counter only from November 11. 

The last date for registering online is December 10. The last date to register will be December 15 if the form is submitted offline.

The registration charges, including the cost of form is Rs 1800 for general male candidates and girls have to pay only Rs 200.
